Family Support and Connections
Family Support and Connections is a community effort to keep children safe and families together. Family Support and Connections family advocates offer encouragement to families while providing them information regarding a variety of helpful resources. Services are confidential and free of charge.
The Family Support and Connections program is funded by the Yamhill County Children & Families Commission, Oregon Department of Human Services, and Catholic Community Services.
Treatment Foster Care
The RFS Treatment Foster Care program provides youth with certain challenges in their lives the opportunity to live temporarily in a family setting with caring foster parents.
While living in treatment foster care, youth and their biological families receive counseling with the goal of successfully reuniting them as soon as possible. Youth who cannot return to their families are assisted in transitioning to long-term foster care.

Independent Living Program
The RFS Independent Living Program assists youth in foster care between the ages of 14 and 21 to make the transition to responsible independent living as they enter adulthood.
The ILP helps youth prepare for all that adult life entails: employment seeking and interviews, access to higher education, finding a place to live, financial management, and developing community connections.
Functional Family Therapy
Functional Family Therapy (FFT) is a family preservation program for at-risk youth and their families. The major goals of FFT are to strengthen family communication, decrease negativity, help family members adopt positive solutions to family problems, develop positive behavior change, and expand parenting strategies. RFS specially trained therapists help families identify their unique strengths and work together to develop healthy patterns of interaction.
